Once again the Rose Cup Races start off the Portland Rose Festival with a weekend of premier amateur auto racing starting May 30th and Ending June 1st. Racers compete for SCCA Regional and National Points as well as Porsche Club Standing. Results:
5/31 - Porsche Cup, #86 Finishes 7th
6/1 - Porsche Cup & Rose Cup, #86 DNF
This weekend marks Jay Culbertson's return to racing following a crash last fall at Daytona. What started out as a promising weekend ended with two disqualifications for noise during the final Porsche Cup and Rose Cup races as a result of a malfuncitoning exhaust system coupled with low hanging clouds. |

The 2007 Baja 1000, November 10th -16th, takes drivers on a grueling desert race from Ensenada to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Results:
5th in Class, 192 overall out of a field of 424 competitors.
Even a four hour delay due to an electrical problem early on in the race could not stop the team from completing the the 2007 Baja 1000. Finishing in a grueling 46 hours and 23 minutes the team claimed a fifth place finish in class. |

2007 Portland Rose Festival Rose Cup Races moves up a week this year to June 1st, 2nd and 3rd at Portland International Raceway. Racers will be competing for SCCA National & Regional points. Results:
Jay Culbertson (#86 Porsche): 3rd Place- National Group 3, 3rd & 2nd Place - PCA Porsche Cups, 3rd Place - GT2 Regional Group 3, 3rd Place - PCA Regional Group 6.
Ken Dobson (#7 350Z): 1st Place - T2 Regional Group 7
Under sunny skies and warm weather, Jay Culbertson returned to the seat of the TCM Motorsports #86 Porsche after a two year hiatus and claimed 3rd and 2nd place finishes in the weekend's Porsche Cup races. Ken Dobson, journeyman driver, piloted the #7 Red Z to a 1st in class finish during National racing. |

With Scott Culbertson, TCM Driver, absent from racing due to military service, Ken Dobson, took another turn at driving the red Nissan #350 Z during May's SCCA event. |

The 2006 Baja 1000 takes place November 15th through 18th beginning in Ensenada, Mexico. Results:

In a race where only 3 other cars in class crossed the finish line. TCM Motorsports met with disappointment 80 miles from the finish line. A bad clutch stopped the car for 6 hours in the BFG pits at race mile 517. A little over 24 hours afer the first clutch failed the second succumbed leaving the car unrepairable. |

Moving to Topeka, Kansas the SCCA National Championship Runoffs take place at Heartland Park Topeka over the days of October 9th through the 15th. Results:
Ken Dobson (#7) Nissan 350Z Finished 7th place in Class.
TCM Motorsports returned to the Runoffs with replacement driver, Ken Dobson, driving the team's red 350Z. After a week of successful qualifying runs, on track insidents left the team off the podium and with a 7th place finish. |

Scott Culbertson (#64 Nissan 350Z) took a 1st place finishes in both Regional and Nationals. Jay Culbertson (#86 Nissan 350Z) took a 5th place finish in Nationals and a 2nd place finish in Regionals. Guest Driver, John Crosby (#86 Porsche GT3 Cup) took 1st place overall finishes in both of the weekend's Porsche Cups. races
The Rose Cup Races brought a series of successes for the TCM Motorsports team. This year Porsche Club of America Race Chairman, John Crosby, joined the team as a guest driver in the #86 TCM Motorsports Porsche and brought home additional victories as well. |

The SCCA Double Nationals race at Seattle's Pacific Raceway takes place on June 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Results:
Scott Culbertson (#64 Nissan 350Z) took 5th and 2nd place finishes in National competition. Jay Culbertson (#86 Nissan 350Z) took 6th and 4th place National finishes.
The TCM Motorsports team started a busy two weeks of racing off with another good showing in Washington. The weekend gave the team a chance to improve their National points standing as they head into the mid point of the season. |
